Event
The Enduro team has worked hard for years to put the Cambo Enduro route together, gaining special permits to ride you through areas not seen by tourists. Our adventure team ride all over the world in the very best terrain and they have all stated that in their opinion a better trail ride simply doesn’t exist.
The Enduro rides are not holidays, they are real adventures. However they are not aimed at experts. Our rides are all about attitude and achievement, team work and the wonder of riding together in extreme and isolated terrain. These spectacular life experiences are all about who you are, not how you ride. We have had MotoX champions cry because the day was too long and a 74 year old man laugh out loud after falling 5 times in a day.
Cambodia is the place to ride in South East Asia; it offers a remote adventure experience to the dirt biker. The world view of the people living in the forest is very different to ours, there are very few riding rules to adhere to and the country offers a hard to find sense of freedom. The faces and places you encounter will be unlike anywhere else on earth.
We will ride trails that have been closed to the public for decades and sleep by roaring fires with only the sounds of the forest surrounding us. Each morning you will feel more alive than you have ever felt - this place is so heavily charged with the Earth’s power that you simply cannot be here and stay the same.
Each night we rest our heads in weird and wonderful locations; these include remote riverside rooms with views over the mighty Mekong, camping in Preah Khan, a recently rediscovered 12th Century Angkorian temple and a former governor’s home in Ratanakiri - the remotest region in Cambodia. A saying we use on several of the events we organise is ‘We take these risks not to escape life but to prevent life escaping us’. It’s never been truer than on the Cambo Enduro.
Your average day will depend entirely on the weather, the local situation and the overall group ability, we are not in this to race. This event is all about the end game, and getting back in one piece.
