Money
To take part in the trip, riders will need to raise a minimum of £4,995 in sponsorship. This target will cover the cost of your trip and the guaranteed donation. For each participant we promise to donate a minimum of £1,500 from your overall sponsorship target. The donation is split 30% each to UNICEF, Sentebale and Nelson Mandela Children's Fund and 10% to Touch Africa. In addition, 100% of monies raised above the minimum target are donated to the chosen charities.
For some the minimum target will be easy to achieve, for others it could seem a steep mountain to climb. Once you start putting your mind to the task it is surprising how enjoyable, satisfying and easy raising the sponsorship money can become. Use your head, get motivated and be active - you will be amazed at how many ideas you and others will have, the possibilities are endless. The thing to remember is that you have to start somewhere and no matter how small the start is, at least it is a start. If you are determined to do this, then nothing will stop you. Don't limit yourself to your friends and family - there are a lot of people out there who will happily sponsor you for amounts large and small.
Global Enduro is what's called a social enterprise, a business which makes a profit from helping others. Enduro Africa is an ethical and profitable product of Global Enduro Limited, the project generates a capped fee for Global Enduro, the company that runs and owns Enduro Africa. This fee covers our full time team, all office costs, recce trips, wages etc.
Since the inaugural ride in 2006, Enduro Africa events have raised in excess of £1.34 million including the previous donations of motorcycles, thanks to everyone who supports us in our work.
